LadyBug robot Kit

Build yourself an insect robot that is fully equipped to perform different sets of movements.This kit provides the materials and instructions to construct a Ladybug Robot that moves with its six legs and uses infrared emitting diodes as eyes to avoid obstacles along its path. When an object is detected, the robot automatically makes a left turn and continues to move forward after that if there is no shadow in front of the sensor. Intermediate skill level. Kit requires soldering. Recommended for ages 12 and up. Requries four AAA batteries, not included.

The Ladybug Robot moves with its six legs and makes use of infrared emitting diodes as its eyes to avoid obstacles along its path.  Ladybug automatically makes a left turn the moment it detects an object in its path.  It continues to move forward again when no obstacle is in the way.
